MiCA-licensed crypto exchange bonuses (CASP)
Four MiCA-licensed exchanges currently run bonuses for EU users: OKX, Bybit, Kraken and Gate.io. Every offer below comes from a platform authorized in the official ESMA register, so the bonus is legal to claim and pay out across the EU/EEA. Compare the live deals in the table, then open any exchange for its full conditions.
Which MiCA-licensed exchanges have a bonus right now?
OKX Europe's deposit bonus campaign (6-31 August 2026) pays new and existing users a flat 8% match on net new deposits between €10 and €62,500, worth up to €5,000 in USDC per user, paid out over 12 months.
Conditions:
- 8% deposit bonus (new and existing users, except Iceland): you must opt in inside the OKX app before your first deposit, or that deposit will not qualify
- Only net new deposits count (total deposits minus withdrawals); eligible deposit range €10 to €62,500; capped at €5,000 per user
- Paid in USDC, in instalments every 2 weeks starting 4 September 2026, spread over 52 weeks (26 instalments)

Bybit EU rewards new users with tiered Welcome Rewards worth up to $5,100+, unlocked through deposit and trading-volume milestones: from a $10 reward for a $200 deposit up to $5,000 (plus VIP 3 status) for a $50,000 deposit.

- 3-day risk-control review before a reward is credited

Kraken is running a €1,000,000 prize draw for EU users switching from unlicensed exchanges. Every euro you deposit on Kraken between 19 June and 31 July 2026 earns you one entry into the draw. New and existing verified users in eligible EU countries can take part.

- Promotion period: 19 June - 31 July 2026

Gate.com is running a deposit rewards campaign worth up to 10% cashback (paid as USDC vouchers) for EU users, alongside a separate trading-volume competition and referral rewards, from 28 June to 28 July 2026. Worth knowing, from our own reading of the small print: the widely quoted 20,000 USDC is the shared prize pool, not your personal cap; the per-user maximum is 100/300/500 USDC depending on the deposit tier, so even a deposit far above 10,000 USDC cannot earn more than 500 USDC (we had to correct our own published figures after re-reading these terms).
Conditions:
- Deposit from around €10/USDC equivalent to qualify for a voucher worth up to 10% cashback
- Higher tiers: deposit ≥2,000 USDC (8% back), deposit ≥10,000 USDC (5% back)
- Deposit reward pool capped at 20,000 USDC, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
- Separate trading-volume competition (up to 500 USDC) and referral rewards (5 USDC per referral, max 50 USDC)
- Promotion period: 28 June - 28 July 2026
- Must click "Join Now" to register; acquired assets are locked during the event
Payment methods:
- Depozyt w kryptowalucie (USDC i inne)
Why choose bonuses only from MiCA-licensed (CASP) exchanges?
Legal protection for your funds
MiCA-licensed (CASP) exchanges operate under the strict rules of the EU MiCA regulation. Client funds are separated from company assets and exchanges must meet capital requirements set by national regulators.
The exchange cannot be shut down mid-bonus
After 1 July 2026, unlicensed platforms must stop serving EU clients. Only MiCA-authorized (CASP) exchanges may continue to legally operate in EU/EEA markets.
Verified by ESMA, not just claimed
Every exchange on this page appears in the official ESMA register. You can verify it yourself using our directory or directly on the ESMA website.
Frequently asked questions
- It depends on how much you deposit. Kraken is running a €1,000,000 prize draw (one entry per €1 deposited), OKX pays a flat 8% deposit bonus worth up to €5,000, and Bybit's tiered rewards reach $5,000+ for large deposits. Check each offer's per-user cap on this page against the deposit you actually plan to make: the headline figure is a ceiling, not what a typical deposit earns.
- Yes. Each exchange runs its own independent promotion, so you can open an account and claim a bonus on several of them. Splitting a deposit across several of them can pay more than concentrating it in one, because most offers cap the per-user reward well below the headline figure.
- Yes - all exchanges listed here hold a valid MiCA (CASP) license from a national EU regulator and appear in the official ESMA register. This does not eliminate market risk, but it confirms the exchange is legally operating in the EU.
- Most apply across the EU/EEA, but some exclude specific countries (for example, OKX excludes Iceland, and Kraken excludes the UK). Check each exchange's conditions above before depositing.
- A MiCA license (also called a CASP authorisation, for Crypto-Asset Service Provider) is the authorisation required under the EU MiCA regulation to legally serve EU clients. It is granted by a national financial regulator (e.g. CySEC, AMF, BaFin) and published in the official ESMA register.
- Yes. MiCA-licensed exchanges are required to verify user identity (Know Your Customer). You will not be able to withdraw bonus funds without completing the KYC process.
- Under MiCA, once national transition periods expire (latest by 1 July 2026), unlicensed exchanges must stop serving EU clients. If you use an unlicensed platform, your funds may become inaccessible or withdrawals may be blocked.
- Use the CASP Tracker directory: search by name or paste the exchange website address to instantly see its ESMA authorization status, regulator and which EU countries it may serve.
